My chest wasn't big enough for the latter and I (stupidly as it turned out) thought the Police didn't get enough time off, so Prison Service it was, but not in the end :)George Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02622222875110390888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7988875042394716329.post-61184372178218661472017-02-19T19:21:47.491+00:002017-02-19T19:21:47.491+00:00There was an exam for the Prison Service? People in America have real problem understanding this, but suffice to say I view the bottom feeding filth in the same way as the top feeding filth. I am actually more disgusted with the multi-millionaires and billionaires than those getting there monthly stipend from the government. But they do both trouble me.

I particularly enjoyed the piece on the coffee shop owners.......like why is he wearing a wooly hat indoors!

I can not even bear to pursue the story on the Pewdiepie, so I will trust your judgement on that one.

The move though to private policing, armies and prisons really puts me over the edge. How anyone can think that it is Ok to have these 3 groups not public servants just mystifies me. I think if someone is caught bringing drugs into a prison they should immediately be thrown in the cell themselves ( I have lived in countries where they would cut off an appendage or even worse if so discovered, so it always could be worse).

So even though I am a subscriber to the New Statesman, keep it up!john de terre neuvehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03898285039988448895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7988875042394716329.post-23912568937167024072017-02-19T09:57:38.391+00:002017-02-19T09:57:38.391+00:00A splendid rant there George.
